Linje Hopp

Director: Martin Bergh
Producer: Milla Bergh
Status: in development

The short documentary Linje Hopp follows Nisse, Ove, and Owe—three Swedish men undergoing radiation treatment for prostate cancer. Each morning they board the same patient transport bus from Varberg to Borås. What starts as an awkward ride marked by silence and worry slowly transforms into a space of unexpected connection.

As Nisse approaches the end of his treatment, he’s filled with uncertainty. What happens when the routine ends? Will the bond between the men last beyond the bus ride? With his guitar in hand, Nisse begins writing a song about their trips on Linje Hopp. The film explores the strength of community and the hope it can create in the face of illness.
